Woollam Alpha SE system. It operates in the wavelength range of 380-900 nm. In this equipment, the source and detector can be placed at fixed angles of 65°, 70°, 75° or 90° (direct). The ellipsometer makes it possible to determine the thickness of thin films during the manufacturing process.

The optical microscope is a Leica XLM3. It is integrated with 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100X objectives and a state-of-the-art white light LED illumination for reflection imaging. It has a rotating platform to place the sample, whose movements in XYZ can be manually controlled in micrometer steps. It has a CCD camera that allows obtaining images in digital form.
